Doing church differently
The Way church in Salford & Manchester: making disciples, planting churches

The Way is committed to helping to start new churches in response to Jesus' commission to go into the world and make disciples.
In the New Testament, starting churches was founded on believers engaging with the unbelievers around them, demonstrating and communicating the gospel to make new disciples.

Establishing simple communities of believers who love and care for one another, meeting in homes to eat, break bread, pray, worship, and follow the apostles teaching.
Believers, partnering together to reach out to those around them with the love of Jesus, to serve local communities, help the poor, the marginalised, the vulnerable and the lonely.

Are you thinking and praying about starting a church that looks like this?

If the answer to this is 'yes', and you would like support, or friendship along the way, then we would love to walk with you.
Steps to starting a church like The Way
Begin to pray for the communities you feel called to. If there are a few of you, start to follow Jesus together. If you are on your own, pray for others to join you as you step out in faith
Reach out to the local communities you feel called to, as well as neighbours and others. Build relationships with people who do not know Jesus through loving and serving them
Connect those people into wider communities around you and begin to share Jesus with them in a relational way within the context of the wider community they have become part of
As the gospel changes lives, start new communities around the new believers and thus form a local church. Invest time in discipling the new believers and coaching new communities
